Following a comprehensive review of management systems, operational processes and production activities across our multiple facilities, LRQA have reaccredited West Cumberland Engineering to ISO 9001, ISO 3834-2 and BS-EN 1090 certifications.
The audit was completed with not a single Non-Conformity, Finding, or Areas Requiring Senior Management Attention, which is a remarkable accomplishment.
The successful reaccreditation means that West Cumberland Engineering have now achieved 32 consecutive years of certification. It demonstrates not only the quality of our systems but also the consistency and dedication of generations of employees who have contributed to maintaining these standards year after year.
- ISO 9001 is the world’s most widely used quality management standard. It sets out requirements for a structured quality management system focused on consistent processes, risk management, and continual improvement
- ISO 3834-2 is an international quality standard specifying comprehensive quality requirements for the fusion welding of metallic materials, providing assurance that welded products are manufactured consistently and safely.
- BS EN 1090-1 is the European standard governing the fabrication and conformity assessment of structural steel and aluminium components.
These accreditations provide customers with confidence that our products and services are delivered to recognised industry standards, with robust quality controls, full traceability and a culture of continuous improvement.
Thank you to all of our team for your hard work and commitment to deliver a record like this. Achievements such as this are only possible because of the effort, professionalism and pride shown by everyone across the company every day.
